Alicia’s new business is working with Auditory Processing Disorder. You can read more about what APD is, and the methods of treatment on her website. She has her office here in Clinton. She is the only person in Mississippi that is providing both evaluation and treatment options.

Brady swam at the MS State Swim meet this past weekend. Here is him swimming the 100 Breast Stroke for 11-12 year old boys in the consolation finals. His best time in the event was 1:34:?. So he took off over 6 seconds in this race.

We had a great meet in Baton Rouge at the LSU Natatorium the weekend of Dec 1st. Brady qualified for the state meet in 3 additional events, 50 breast, 100 breast, and 50 back. He just missed the 100 back by .3 seconds. He also improved on his 50 free time, which he had already qualified for state. Cody came in 3rd for 25 backstroke, and 5th for 25 butterfly, and swam his first 50 butterfly. Caleb came in 7th for 25 backstroke, and improved his times on his other strokes. This was a very large meet, with around 600 swimmers.

Just got the 2013 times, Brady is going to have to swim a little faster. He’s still qualified for the 50 free, but not others.

This past weekend at the Quad Meet in Monroe, LA, Brady qualified for the state meet in the 50 yard freestyle event. He’s about a 1/2 second away from 50 yard backstroke and was only .3 from qualifying on 50 yard breaststroke as well. He’s been working really hard, and it is starting to pay off for him. Cody finished second in the 25 yard backstroke and 25 yard butterfly and fourth in 25 yard freestyle and 25 yard freestyle. Caleb finished 1/2 second behind Cody in freestyle and back, and was the fastest 8 year old swimming the 50 yard back. Proud of all three boys!

For those that don’t know, I’ve been doing Paul Lacoste’s Fit 4 Change workout four days a week from 5-6 in the morning. We are now in our 4th week of training now. It has been a challenging four weeks so far, and we have eight more weeks to go. Here is a story on the workout from Fox News. They came and filmed on Tuesday.
